The company and models available
LONATI excels in the world's markets, with an average of 8000 machines produced annually, and peak production during very positive years of 13,000 machines. The entire range is updated continually, resulting in new solutions produced by the research and development department, to address the requirements of fashion and market flexibility, which continually sets challenges that are not always easy to overcome, but which stimulate Lonati's ability for innovation. This is why after introducing the flipping dial closed-toe machines, now so well-established as to constitute the flagship machine in the Lonati range, research continued in search of new potential, for example, to use machines that had historically been designed to produce socks for the manufacture of fabric sports shoes. All standard models have also been upgraded, i.e. the 5 and 6 colour single-feed, double-feed, filet stitch, 3D and 4-feed sports hosiery machines, representing the largest range currently available on the market.
Innovation and creativity
Lonati is committed to ongoing research and the development of innovative products, technologies, processes and materials to provide customers all over the world with the best textile machinery available, guaranteeing high quality production at competitive prices. The aim is to improve the potential synergies of electronic and textile machinery, to implement the most versatile solutions and produce infinite Italian fashion creations.
The principles that drove the entrepreneur Francesco Lonati, the founder of Lonati S.p.A., remain the same - simplicity, versatility and high performance, while saving on consumption and safeguarding people and the environment. With this approach, technology avoids arduous and detrimental processes, enabling maximum health and safety in the workplace, accessibility and easy maintenance, noise reduction, and continuous monitoring and improvements, where possible.
