Nurturing expertise.
The new Lonati Research & Development department, just opened on premises covering 800 square metres, is also called the ‘Experience Department’, because it encompasses all the expertise and ideas of our technicians, engineers and experts. In this centre of analytical, design and engineering excellence, experimentation is the order of the day with cutting edge instrumentation and equipment. Worldwide leadership, earned through the research and development of increasingly innovative machinery, gives us exclusive benefits and advantages. Thanks to half a century’s worth of unbeatable knowledge and experience, we can continually increase the levels of efficiency, reliability and environmental sustainability of our products.
Striving for excellence and a keenness to learn are characteristics that bind and strengthen the team. When that team also has the best specialists from the textile machinery and electronics industries, not to mention the computer science world, good results keep coming year after year. Our team is equipped with the most advanced technologies, and is always producing new, more streamlined and effective solutions to tackle production issues. The aim is to maintain the growth that has taken place since 1946. Our strategy is based on innovation and efficiency. This is achieved by investing in the development of processes, materials and products, testing and assessing current production to continually improve performance, and developing new technologies that can make items for different markets, such as shoe uppers produced in the last year using circular machinery.
Talent and
experience merge.
The method: leaving nothing to chance.
Able collaborators, team work and one way of doing business characterise Lonati’s style – operating in a professional, efficient and organised manner. The company’s guiding principles are simplicity, versatility and the optimisation of resources to save energy and safeguard the environment. Research and development is a family tradition, and a long-term commitment that is essential for continually upgrading products.
